Attn: Local Artists and Makers
Wholesale (Consignment Basis) Opportunity!
Dockside Treasures is looking to add amazing local products/gifts/artwork to our inventory for the upcoming 2025 season! *Consignment only, 55/45 split
Payout schedule is quarterly:
Jan/Feb/March: Payout on or before 4/15
April/May/June: Payout on or before 7/15
July/Aug/Sept: Payout on or before 10/15
Oct/Nov/Dec: Payout on or before 1/15
Note: Businesses must provide a W9.
I trialed this with a handful of local makers last season with great mutual success and so I've decided to dedicate even more square footage for locals to showcase their talents this season.
Keep in mind that our average transaction is $28 so I am primarily looking for items that will retail in the $10-$70 price range.
Note: I've often found it successful to display 1-2 higher priced items along with the more reasonably priced items from a particular artist's collection. Makers that can provide their own displays and or display materials and advertising signange will be given preference.
I'm open to anything but am especially interested in the following types of items/products:
*Postcards, Greeting Card, Stationery and Stickers
*Wall art
*Pottery, mugs or trinket dishes
*Driftwood and/or Seaglass or nautically themed art
*Apparel
*Bath & beauty products
*Candles
*Food products
*Jewelry - cannot accept loose jewerly, it must come with a display
If you are interested please shoot me an email at [email protected] with the following information:
*Link to your website, socials, etc. or attach pictures of items you would like to consign
*Your retail price per item
*How do you prefer your item(s) be displayed and can you provide display materials if needed
*A bit about yourself and why you think your items/products would be a good fit for Dockside Treasures
About Us: We (Mary & Evan Perrollaz) purchased Dockside Treasures in 2018 and are the third owners, the business was originally established in 1989. We briefly opened a second shop (Madrona Outfitters) up the street that was open for two seasons (2021 & 2022) that strictly sourced from small artists and makers. The shop did well but foot traffic was a challenge and so we integrated that inventory back into the Dockside location. In 2022, we purchased the San Juan Coffee Roasting Company, now called San Juan Island Roasters which is also located on the dock of the Cannery Landing building.
Our coffee business keeps me very busy and I currently only have one day a week that I'm able to devote to all things Dockside so please don't expect a response right away and no phone calls. However, I will absolutely get back with everyone that inquires but please allow 1-3 weeks for a response and consignment contract, details to follow, etc.
Please feel free to share this post with anyone that you think might be interested and I look forward to your submissions! - Mary Perrollaz
