The Mangy Moose Maine The Mangy Moose is the PERFECT place to find EVERYTHING you didn't know you needed ... and then some! We are open 7 days a week in Freeport, Maine!

The Mangy Moose began over a third of a century ago in Jackson Hole, Wyoming serving up some of the best eats and drinks around. The dining room has long been a favorite of both locals and visitors offering such fare as steaks, prime rib, sea food, pasta and the ever-popular 20 foot salad bar. Seems like most people who come to ski Jackson Hole's famous powder or to hike the rugged Tetons end up a

t the Mangy Moose for dinner, entertainment, dancing or just for a pitcher of Moose Brew along with an order of those snappy wings, touted to be the best in the Hole. By the end of the 70's, there was such demand for "Mangy Moose" logo hats and tee shirts at the time sold only in the restaurant and bar that ten years later a real "Moose" store was established in Teton Village. By the late 80's the Mangy Moose Emporium was born and by the mid 90's there were three stores: one in Teton Village, another in the town of Jackson both in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and a third in Freeport, Maine. Anything imaginable that is Moose is available in our stores ... from 85 cent pencils to $5,000 moose antler chandeliers ... from signature moose golf balls and moose socks to and pajamas ... we even have moose glassware and underwear ...

our favorite part of the summer: the dogs 🐶 okay okay we like their owners too 😉 we met Maggie the Dalmatian in the beginning of the summer and she was the sweetest! As summer is coming to an end we wanted to thank you for keeping us so busy :)
