First of all, I want to thank all the wonderful and loyal customers who have supported this store over the years. After many months of consideration and soul searching, I have made the decision to close the store. Given the current state of the economy and workforce, it's time to move on to something new.

We will be open this week from 6am to 6pm and are offering 50% off all groceries and hardware. Our final day will depend greatly on how quickly the inventory goes.

As many people know, we have been running short staffed for quite some time. Fortunately, I have some amazing employees, and they have gone the extra mile, so we have always been able to make it work, and maintain our business hours. Many of them have been working 6 days a week, for several weeks now which I appreciate immensely! So this weekend, we will be taking Sunday off to allow for everyone to have 2 days off for this week. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause for any of our customers, but my staff needs a break, and they have most definitely earned it!

It's what we do for the kids!! For all you following the "Pie in the Face" contest, the biggest winner was Red Henry, pie thrown by the very enthusiastic Mark Letourneau! Biggest loser, Chris Bennett, smasher of pie, Bruce Grass! Many of you have been posting what they are thankful for daily this month...today Tabi and I (Julianna) are thankful we came in somewhere between these two! It was way more fun to watch.
