Due to reported patches of ice on some roads in Gillespie County, especially on the eastern side, and below-freezing temperatures in the early morning, the Fredericksburg Independent School District will operate on a delayed schedule tomorrow, Wednesday, January 22nd. This means buses will run 2 hours later than normal, and all schools will begin instruction 2 hours behind schedule. Due to the 2-hour delay, breakfast will be limited.
If you need to drop off your child early, we will have minimal staff available to supervise students. Early drop-offs must be made at the front office of the campus.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but the delay allows our school community and administrative staff time to assess road conditions before traveling. Safety is our top priority, and we want everyone to feel confident traveling to school. Please continue to monitor local media for updates regarding the winter weather forecast, and use caution if you are traveling during this time.
