If you can show up that would be amazing, but if you can make a call to your Senator and tell your story, it might tip the needle to keep our small business open and creating former smokers for another 10 years!

5 years ago Randi and Brian (Bluegrass Cannabis Company) made a commitment to join the battle to bring Medical Ma*****na to KY. In a historic vote, at the capital today, senate bill, 47, the medical ma*****na bill passed a huge hurdle in the house by a vote of 66 to 33. We have been working tirelessly on this bill for five years and today is truly a day of celebration. This bill will allow companies to grow, process and sell medical ma*****na in Kentucky beginning in 2025. It also does so without the need to have a pharmacist on site which was important to us.
While, this bill does not contain everything we want, it is a huge first step. As Senator west said, this will be a process going forward. We fully expect there to be changes, and hopefully expansions to this bill in the years to come. However, for the moment, we are pleased and grateful to the general assembly for passing this historic legislation, that will provide much-needed relief to many Kentuckians.
Governor Beshear will sign the bill in the very near future and we can begin to prepare for this new industry in the commonwealth.
