Influenced by his mixed American and Salvadoran heritage, Diaz’s artistic journey has explored various mediums, including found objects, beeswax, and paper, though his primary passion lies in ceramics. His cultural heritage profoundly impacts his creations, weaving rich references to Latin American folk art, pre-Colombian history, and spirituality into every piece. These elements converge to form a unique visual perspective that speaks powerfully on themes of identity and place.

Based out of Oklahoma City, Diaz has exhibited his work in various esteemed locations, including Oklahoma, Los Angeles, and Mexico. Each exhibition underscores his commitment to crafting pieces that resonate with cultural significance and personal narrative, inviting viewers to explore the complex interplay of past and present, tradition and innovation.
