Showers and storms could impact plans today and tonight (Friday).

Originally I thought the onset would be late tonight, but it looks as if waves of rainfall could arrive by this afternoon.

Especially across western Arkansas.

Activity should become more widespread with time through the late afternoon and evening hours.

This will impact Friday night football, plan accordingly.

The severe weather risk is extremely low, not a concern right now.

Early tomorrow morning will feature scattered showers and storms as well.

This unfortunately will impact opening day of modern gun season.

You might follow me and read my posts, but do you know how I operate?

Arkansas weather is my job, day to day forecasting with some live storm tracking sprinkled in at times.

First chili watch of the season!

CHILI WATCH, the first of the season, issued through this weekend.

What does this mean?

Pleasant afternoons and evenings, cool to even chilly mornings and a ripe smell of fall in the air is coming.

There will NO humidity in the air, so even if it is a little warm in the middle of the afternoon (think low 80’s for example); it will be extremely comfortable.

We might even see some 40° readings across north Arkansas Sunday morning.

Grab stuff for chili, plan something outdoors, go deer hunting (bow season), whatever it might be; ENJOY!

HELP US IDENTIFY, this man is stealing alcohol from our stores.

The gentleman in the images here is stuffing Cayman Jacks and then guzzling them down in the bathroom.

We understand that he enjoys the drinks, but we don’t appreciate him taking them and enjoying without paying.

If you know this individual, we would appreciate your help.

He drives a maroon Dodge Challenger.

This occurred at our Phoenix Avenue store in Fort Smith.
