There's been lots of sewing going on in preparation of the Greater Fort Kent Chamber annual craft fair this weekend. I've had my hands on some really yummy fabrics. Scarves, art rolls and table runners are just a few items you can expect to see. I'll also have lots of fresh baked goods. The Funny Farm

More blueberries and raspberries harvested this morning. I had a supervisor who kept trying to swipe raspberries off the bush. Sneak.

This fabulous table runner just came off the sewing machine. It is made from a gray duck cloth featuring a pattern of arrows in white. I'm half tempted to keep it for myself. 😍

I'm always caught last minute for THE big craft fair completely out of business cards. I'm always left scrambling the morning of THE big craft fair trying to throw more together.

Not this year. I'm starting there so I can hopefully prevent chaotic morning of scrambles this November. Here's hoping!

"Jodi, what are these art rolls you speak of?"

Well, they are these fantastic things right here, you see. They can be used to hold random art supplies from color pencils to knitting needles or even paint brushes! They roll up to keep your supplies neat yet easily accessible and are amazingly portable. They fit great in a purse or backpack when you're on the run with a little artist, too!

This fabric order didn't make it in time for Christmas but I'm working on them now and will be adding to my shop soon.

15 fricken fracken years later and I just learned the buttonhole maker on my sewing machine. I'm torn between excitement and disgust (because I always thought it was a malfunctioning function on my machine. Nope. I'm just a dingaling.)

This opens up so many possibilities in my life.
