We are a speciality gift shop that carries NC gifts that are mainly locally made. . We carry t-shirts from North Carolina companies like Simply Southern, State Legacy Revival, Vinylbug and our own designs of Fayetteville tees. Then we also carry a t-shirt line from South Carolina called Southern Fried Cotton. We have a variety of local foods from Faith Farms (along with local honey), wine jellies from Aunt Bunny's Wine Jelly, rum cakes from Cape Fear Rum Cakes, toffee from Chapel Hill Toffee, BBQ sauces and spices from Hog Heaven BBQ and Ribs and much more. We have 70+ local artisans that put different items in our store like soaps, lotions, candles, wood art, metal art, quilted items, wreaths, military coin holders, baby items and so much more. We love to make gift baskets and can put pretty much anything from the store into a basket. At the same time you can bring items in to add to items you pick in the store and we can wrap it up. We offer free gift wrapping on most items we carry in the store all year long including Christmas. We also ship items from in the store through either USPS and FedEx depending on the lowest price. Our ultimate goal is to make it a one stop shop for your gift shopping needs. My husband is originally from Florence, SC and was stationed here at Ft Bragg for 18 out of his 21 years in the service (that is why it is called A Bit of Carolina so it can have a few items from SC). I am from everywhere since my dad was in the Navy then I married an Army guy and have been here in Fayetteville since 1999. Both my husband and I have a great love for Fayetteville's downtown and love the direction that our downtown has been taking. If you haven't made it downtown recently you need to give it another try. With all types of festivals and 4th Friday events, downtown is now a very eventful place to visit. We would love for you to stop in, tell us your story and look around (it will take you many passes with all the great local items we have in store).
