SHE BELIEVED SHE COULD SO SHE DID IT!
After many prayers, God enlightened me and I have decided to get off the hamster wheel...in gratitude! 🙏🏽
If you know me well, I am sure you will understand this was not an easy decision, but after giving it all to my shops for 10 years, The Wine Café & The Coffee Cup, will close their doors for the last time this September the 30th.
Being 2021 such a tough year (probably the toughest since I have been in business) and me feeling physically and mentally exhausted, I feel like I need to take my life back and get into a slower pace. I want to know what a normal Holiday season feels like, maybe even bake over Thanksgiving or Christmas (...and I am not a baker 🤣)
Yes, it was all worth it! The biggest gain during these years has been getting deeper into my Faith and in my connection with Jesus and the gift of serving my community through my business that at some point turned out to be my ministry. 🙏🏽
I have met the most wonderful people, many whom I call today my dear friends...that’s a gift beyond measure. 💝
To my husband, my rock, after Jesus, I know no one has my back like you do. I came here over 12 years ago to follow you, to continue our love story and I could not be more thankful for our journey together. You are the love of my life! If I have to do it again, I would be jumping on that plane again, and take the leap of faith...again! ❤️
Nevertheless, having so many amazing team members that I got to work alongside, many taught me so much and at the same time the shops were a school for all of us (I am not taking any credit for this, to God, is all the Glory!).
To the over 100 team members, thanks for the over 100 lessons I have learned from you! Thanks for teaching me humility, for teaching me skills, for making me laugh and for reminding me that I’m human throughout the journey of business ownership! I have truly loved you like your Mamma and I hope that when you look back you can cherish all the good times and all the things we learned together, I could not have done it without each and everyone of you! ¡Muchas gracias! 🤗
I have the most respect for all small businesses owners, no one has a clue unless they are in our shoes. You are my Brothers & Sisters Forever, I feel like we have been to war together!
I am excited for the new ahead and I look forward to quieter days, slowly sipping coffee mornings, impromptu Picnics and more Cha-Cha-Cha with my husband Ray, the love of my life!
💃🏾🕺🏾
Hugs, Cheers & Blessings! ☕️ ❤️🍷
