Don't forget!

Deer Season Opening Day 2024 Breakfast at The K**b General Store will be Saturday November 16, from 4:00AM-8:00AM.

Like last year we will do a buffet style. This year it will be all you can eat for $12.00. The buffet will include: eggs, sausage, bacon, fried potatoes, biscuits, toast, sausage gravy, pancakes and syrup.

Orange juice, coffee and milk will also be included. When the food is gone it is over but we've had leftovers two years in a row so I don't anticipate running out of food.

The K**b General Store will be open tomorrow 10/19/24 and resume normal schedule next week TUES-SAT 10:00AM-6:00PM.

The construction in front of the store is completed and the front area around the new sidewalk has fill so it is safe to open. The special tomorrow is "Green Eggs and Ham".

This year's breakfast (full disclosure) is sponsored by the Missouri deer herd. They are hoping you eat to much and fall asleep so they don't go in your freezer.

The store was closed today (4/30/24) and will be closed tomorrow (5/01/24) due to:

Mom's house has a clogged pipe. I can't afford a plumber so I have been playing submarine commander in her basement. I couldn't get the pipe unclogged today with a power auger so tomorrow I will cut the pipe which is what I should have done to begin with. If that doesn't work I will go down with the ship!

The Mennonite Store is open! Now in its second weekend of the season. Get your plants and fresh vegetables there then stop by The K**b General Store for lunch...and maybe a beer or two.

Happy Easter! Thanks to all who came out to The K**b today to see the Easter Bunny. It was a lot of fun.

We say goodbye to a friend and store customer, Paul King, today. Paul passed away yesterday. On nice days he would come into the store after a game of golf. Known to his friends as "To Tall" he will be greatly missed.

Bring your kids to the The K**b March 30th for pictures with the Easter Bunny and then head up to the Church of God for an Easter egg hunt.

We had a good turn out last Christmas for photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus so lets see what happens.

Frank the beagle was shot yesterday. He dragged himself back to his home in such a horrific state. His owners were left to have him put down. This is a terrible thing someone did to this dog. Goodbye Frank! You were a super cool dude. We will miss you!

I was saddened to hear today about the passing of Karen King. She and Ed were married for 40 years. She was a store customer, friend and neighbor that we will miss.
