Chardonnay lovers this one’s for you! Mark is drinking Salem Wine Co. Chardonnay.

This Oregon Chardonnay is hand-harvested, sourced predominantly from Block 9 at (Eola-Amity Hills AVA). Affable and focused, the wine’s light body, herbal qualities and modest acidity are a match for a wide range of foods.

Tasting notes: This wine shows a clean, bright nose that speaks to the lesser-known mineral and floral side of Chardonnay with Anjou pear, wet stone, Parmesan rind and white flowers. The palate, restrained in texture, follows offering its snappy clover and fresh, green fruit of honeydew and pear.

Did you know that in addition to having the BEST wine experts around, we also have two chef’s? Tim, was professionally trained at The California Culinary Academy (CCA) in San Francisco. Our new series will highlight some of the delicious meals that our chef’s have prepared.

🎃 Mother Pumpkin Ale. Golden Pumpkin Ale with cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and allspice. Roasty beer with malty backbone. 5.5%ABV

🎃 Smashed Pumpkin. Imperial Pumpkin Ale with a pleasing aroma of pumpkin and nutmeg. Big-bodied coming in at 9.0%ABV.

🎃 Caramel Pumpkin Imperial Pumpkin Ale. Smooth, rich, luscious caramel intertwines with cinnamon, nutmeg, and pie crust notes. Tasteful hints of vanilla. Medium-bodied 8.6%ABV

Orange Vino Bianco 🍊. What is orange wine?! It is a white grape fermentation but with red winemaking technique. The skins release into the wine the color and aromas, progressively reaching a bright orange color.

“La Croix” Méditerranée Rosé💞 Beautiful pale pink in color, with distinct bluish hues. This expressive blend opens immediately with notes of small red fruits carried on a savory undertone of garrigue. An accessible blend in the true style of Provençal rosé: delicate with flavors of white fruit and a hint of minerality.

Jalapeño Margarita 🔥 Just the right amount of spice in this Margarita with real pieces of organic jalapeño inside the bottle that you can actually see!

Classic Bordeaux Blanc 👏🏼 This wine is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes harvested from select vineyard sites in the Entre-deux-Mers region of Bordeaux. There, cooler summers and free draining soils of limestone help produce a wine with zippy acidity and lasting freshness. Bright, fruity and crisp on the palate, this Sauvignon Blanc is big bang for the buck!

Tropical Tryst 🌴 One of Fifth State’s newest ready-to-drink cocktails! This vibrant blend combines exotic flavors of mango and passionfruit with their Fifth State Gin. Perfect balance of fruity sweetness and gin sophistication.

Reposado Tequila. Aged 8 months in American oak. Full flavors of sweet cooked agave, herbal notes, and woody undertones. One of our newest tequila picks.

Recently Francois visited Ch. Puech Haut in Southern Western France , just north of Montpellier and the Mediterranean.
The estate was built by Mr. Gerard Bru after a successful career in industry and its emblem is a ram which adorn the Rose Argali sold at Mo’s. (Grenache and Syrah )

Francois also enjoyed the cuvée Prestige red, a smooth blend that’s low in tannins.

Every year the winery commissions an artist to paint the barrels and mini kegs of 1.5L are reproduced, filled with wine and sold to visitors.
Altogether a magnificent estate and an enchantment for the palate and the eyes.
