We are open! Goldstream is deep snow and it was a fun ride in. The rain has made it slushy and slick. Be very careful if you get out today! 4 WD is a must! No propane today unless we post otherwise. Be safe everyone.

Good Morning, Goldstream!

Doggie Update:

It's no coincidence that this has become quite the saga as our doggie friend's name is Johnny Cash!!! He's 14 and half years old. This story is definitely shaping up to be an excellent country song.

Johnny Cash went home with a concerned Goldstreamer (not Russ, sorry Russ!) but in the foray, he didn't leave his name and number..........so we have been unable to communicate to him that the very nice and concerned owner has been found.

So if anyone knows who currently has our furry friend, please let them know to call the general store 455-0242.

In the meantime, the owner and GGS would like to thank all the people who have helped out. Special thanks to Susan for food donation and Stephanie for providing advice and a syringe so we could give him the help he needed. Thanks to all the other folks who also donated supplies (blankets, treats) but we don't know specific names.

Hopefully we will be able to get "the Paul Harvey" (the rest of the story for the young's) to you soon!

Doggie Update:

The owner has called! Yay!!! However, we seemed to have misplaced Russ's number so....Hey Russ, if you're on here, give the store a call!!! If anyone knows Russ in the yellow truck's number, give him a call and tell him to call the store, please!

Update: It’s a Boy! Our lost friend here is a male husky. He appears to be elderly. He’s quite skinny. We’ve given him some broth and food and water while we hope to hear from an owner. Call the store for inquiries.
