Are you a responsible adult who uses e-cigarettes as an alternative to traditional to***co? This one’s for you. Bill S.18 is a Senate Bill going through the motions right now that threatens to ban all flavored to***co and e-cigarettes, including menthol.

I have spent a lot of time considering the serious epidemic of the types of products I sell landing in the hands of underage users. I know it’s a problem as well as any legislator in our State, but unlike them I know a ban is not effective. Other states have fallen to this ban and showed us that it simply doesn’t do anything but decrease tax revenue that has to be made up elsewhere, on your dime. It also leaves adult e-cig users with little options and leads many back into the arms of traditional to***co. And no matter how much they try to yell to the contrary, e-cigs are an effective to***co harm reducer period.

Email them, call them, tell them there is a better way. You are sympathetic to the youth but prohibition never EVER works. Find a better solution that doesn’t destroy business, create more of a tax deficit, and take away your choice as a responsible adult. Maybe throw in a quip about flavored alcohol and why that doesn’t seem to be attacked every year.
