Neighborhood Redemption Center is seeing a Full Time, First shift local straight truck driver and material handling/forklift operator
The schedule is Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, and reports out of the Endicott office, located at 2 Badger Ave.
Our trucks are automatic, 24ft box diesel straight trucks with air brakes. No CDL is required for this class of truck
The ideal candidate would have the following:
-Clean drivers license (last 3 years required, last 5 years perferred)
-Some commerical / box truck driving experience is preferred
-Able to work and drive in all types of weather
-Some forklift driving experience or willingness to learn
-Very dependable, great attendance
-In good physical shape and in good health, a DOT medical card will need to be obtained prior to start date
-A team player who works well with others
-Organized and prepared
We are looking for someone willing to do both truck driving as well as loading and unloading during the course of their day. It is a physically demanding job, being on your feet all day and moving bags of empty bottles and cans on and off the truck, but there is no heavy lifting. Using the forklift is required some days, but not all. We are willing to train the right person.
