Cocktail of the Week

Vanilla Butterscotch White Russian

Ingredients:

1 oz. Svedka Vodka
1 oz. Butterscotch Schnapps
1 oz. Kahlua
1 oz. Heavy Cream
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
Butterscotch Syrup
Whipped Cream

Preparation:

1. Place a rocks glass in the freezer to chill for a few minutes.
2. Fill the chilled glass with ice cubes. Add the vodka, butterscotch schnapps, and coffee liqueur. Stir gently to combine.
3. Add the cream: In a small bowl, mix the heavy cream with vanilla extract. Slowly pour the cream mixture over the back of a spoon into the glass to create a layered effect.
4. Garnish: Drizzle butterscotch syrup on top or around the rim of the glass. Add a dollop of whipped cream for extra indulgence.

Surprise!!!!! I’m not recommending a Pinot Noir. My sisters were visiting over the holidays and requested a Cabernet Sauvignon with dinner. We opened this bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon, and I was surprised with how balanced and enjoyable it was. I tend to steer away from sharp tannins, this Cab has ripe tannins, aromas of sage and plum, flavors of dark cherry and spice fill your palate. Ingredients:

2 oz. Deep Eddy Ruby Red Grapefruit Vodka
0.05 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
Ginger Beer
Lime Wheel
Grapefruit Peel

How to make:

Combine Deep Eddy Ruby Red Grapefruit Vodka and lime juice in a copper mug, add ice and top with ginger beer. Garnish with a lime wheel and grapefruit peel.
