We’ve had a lot of people ask about Laura’s family so I decided to explain a little !!!!! First off her siblings , Randy Trahan (principal Northside Christian )Sandy Mcfarlain(Evangeline Elem. )Ricky Trahan (welder Fabricator)Susan LaCombe(school board)Jake Trahan ll (Agriculture Safety). Now for the older generation her father Jake Trahan retired from Brown and Root,uncle Harvey Trahan retired barber ,uncle Robert Trahan retired Universal Plumbing ,uncle Andy Clement Rayne La retired A&P Crowley location , uncle Noah Monceaux retired Family Shoe Store. OK People!! Look at my face do I look like a Joker? I’m really proud to be on Ms. Laura’s team, and to see all of you that joined us to support her as the next Acadia Parish Clerk of Court,it makes me want to jump and click my heels. Even though the only way I’ll stand up is if there’s a sandwich on my sofa! If you know anything about her past work history she’s clearly the best person for the job. Early voting starts Saturday September 30 through October 7th. Although my grandma (Missy Sloane)refuses to sneak me in to vote for Ms. Laura I’m counting on you to help us get that “W” October 14th. Hopefully by then I get that dump truck she promised me!!!

Bridge update 4-19 !! 2:30 just received a call from Eric in Lafayette office and looks like the crews are scheduled to get here possibly by next Wednesday at the latest Friday instead of a 2 week wait. So this is somewhat good news and timeline is one week on repairs with hopefully no hidden issues once they start driving sheet piles and changing piling. He will keep us posted but the bridge will remain closed until completely finished.

Yesterday we were putting a few bottles of TTs deer scents on the counter because it’s new to us. While stocking a customer purchased a bottle of each and said jokingly I’ll bring this to my buddy he ain’t seen nothing unless it’s on camera. We’ll !! This was killed this morning and not even the one they were watching on camera. It’s here and it works!!!!
