Acadiana Boxing Club

Acadiana Boxing Club will be opening its doors on July 1, 2020 after the facility at 460 Ridge Road is built. -All athletes will be registered with USA Boxing. $80/year for sparring athletes $35/year for non-sparring athletes $25/year for non-sparring under 18 athletes These fees include a $25k insurance policy for personal injury and a $1M general liability policy for the club. -There will be a monthly club fee also. The amount will be announced at a later date. -Scholarships will be made available through the Beau Williford Boxing Scholarship Fund. This scholarship is for at-risk youth who cannot afford the USA Boxing fees, monthly dues, or both. -Memberships will also be made available for boxing fans who come by to watch sparring. Competition rules: -Boxers that are attached to a coach can only spar if their coach is present to approve the opponent and supervise the match. -Unattached boxers can only spar if the facilities manager is present and he or she has time to supervise the match. -This is a boxing gym. Not MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). We will coordinate referrals to organized MMA clubs in the area but we will not be training MMA fighters. -In addition to training boxers and promoting boxing fitness, we will be hosting amateur and professional boxing shows on location.
