At this point we're all aware of the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene to NC, and community is everything in times like these. So let's show up for our neighbors out west!

This Saturday, October 5th our stores will be donating 10% of all sales to for recovery efforts for areas damaged by Helene in the NC mountains. If customers would like to donate anything, we will be collecting food, money, & other supplies and directing them to our neighbors in Appalachia.

You can drop off donations to both our Raleigh and Durham locations to support the needs of those affected by Hurricane Helene in Western NC.

A major focus on essentials right now (a full list of most wanted items is posted at each of the stores)- bottled water, clothes, non-perishable food items that don't require heat or electricity, etc.

Firstly, YES we are open today & Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there! 👋

Secondly, a heads up that in observance of Juneteenth, both our Raleigh and Durham locations will be closed this coming Wednesday. Feel free to shop through our website while you can't come see us in person, orders placed on Wednesday can be filled and ready for you to pick up early the next day!

We'll reopen Thursday morning at 10AM and resume business as usual, starting off by launching a new special variety six pack of wines at a great big discount 👀

Carlos Aliaga will be the first to tell you that his vines are his friends, and that the most exciting part of being a vigneron is planting new vines and cheering them on as they grow. 🌱

His passion as a winemaker is made evident upon the first sip of any of his wines- the DosCarlos & his newest rosé cuvée Voilà are our latest summer obsessions! Not your average sauvignon blanc, the DosCarlos offers candied ginger and fragrant florals; you might also not immediately recognize the Voilà as a classic Spanish-style rosé, that's because it's not! Truly unique, reminescent of France's Provençal style, gorgeous aromatics- you gotta try it for yourself!

The rumors are true folks, we’ve got BIG NEWS! 🤩🥂

Wine Authorities Durham has just received quite the Space Age upgrade! It is slightly bittersweet as our classic Enomatic machine recently reached the end of its days, and it’s been sorely missed.

However! We’ve just entered the 21st-and-a-Quarter Century with a brand new Enomatic boasting an array of new features, and, more importantly, you’ll once again be able to sample wine while you shop our aisles. Let the Eno flow!

As they get a better idea of how the harvest from the previous year has paid off, and how the wines are developing, anticipation rises for the release of the newest vintages.⁠ ⏱️⁠ ⁠ João Cordeiro shares with us his favorite time of year at his family's winery, Adega Cordeiro, in Tejo, Portugal. 🧡⁠ #WineFromFarmersNotFactories
