Here to talk about two favorite summer varietals!
The Wine By Joe Pinot Gris is a staple. Enticed by the beautiful pale gold color, we like to call this varietal "giggles in a bottle". It has fun aromas of apple and limoncello. It's creamy on the front of the palate like vanilla ice cream, but quickly moves to bright, vibrant acidity from tropical fruit flavors. Yum!
Looking for something a little more... pink?! Give the Wine By Joe Rosé a shot. Bright fruit aromas of golden raspberry, candied cherry, and pink grapefruit. The medium-long finish will make you want to enjoy this rosé all day!

Our favorite view! Clear, summer days have Mt. Hood peaking out to say hello. Here are some of our favorite places to bask in all her glory
- Trillium Lake, an Oregon classic... kind of like the Wine By Joe Pinot Noir. 🍷
- Buzzard point just off Highway 35 between Barlow Pass Sno-Park and the Pioneer Woman’s Grave on the original Mt. Hood Highway. Buzzard Point originally served as a stop for early travelers to quench their thirst with a drink from the natural spring. You know what else is thirst quenching? The Wine By Joe Pinot Gris.
- Timberline Trail, get up close and personal with Mt. Hood and maybe spot some wildflowers. The Wine By Joe Rosé pairs great with this hike.

Who knew history could taste so good?
Turns out the oldest bottle of wine still intact dates back to around 325 AD and was discovered in a Roman sarcophagus in Germany! Talk about aged to perfection.
However, archaeologists have found evidence of wine production dating back to around 6000 BC in ancient Mesopotamia. They say that every sip tells a story!
