🦌Minnesota's Opening Weekend Harvest Totals are in!🦌

From this weekend through Monday, a total of 75,073 deer were harvested across the state. Here's the breakdown:

200 Zone led with an impressive 49,816
100 Zone followed with 14,510
Zones 300, 600, and 700 made up the rest with 1,230

In our camp, we decided to pass on a few smaller bucks and does. It was a great opening morning with perfect temps and lots of deer activity. Sunday's rain slowed things down a bit, but we still spotted a buck or two!

Here is Video 1 of 2 (had to change batteries in camera!) Ian Schmidt performed on stage as the opening act before the Jeremy DeWall band played for Dundee Nothing Days 2024. Ian is 13 years old and music has been important in his life. Other then a little wind blowing over the music stand, his performance was amazing. His ability to just jump on stage and play in front of people is a talent in itself. He is brave. He is talented. He is very intelligent. He is my son! I am so proud to share this with all of you!
