It officially takes place on the fourth Friday in October every year, and you too can be a part of it! Happy Monday! We are starting the week off by celebrating #oldfashionedweek with @elijahcraig. Beginning in 2020 in response to the global pandemic, Elijah Craig Old Fashioned Week is an annual celebration of this classic cocktail, featuring events in bars and online. You can share online or find a local participating bar to visit and support directly. For each social post shared, Elijah Craig will donate $5 to the Restaurant Workers Community Foundation, helping restaurant workers and small businesses in the industry. Together, we’re raising a glass and some funds for a great cause. Typically made with their Small Batch Bourbon, we thought about mixing it up and using the Kentucky Straight Rye for a robust flavor and spicy finish. Want to celebrate with us? Prima Vini Wine Merchants and Restaurant is a unique business that offers both a retail wine shopping experience as well as a fine-dining, white table cloth Italian restaurant next door. Having been open for 40 years, we focus on true Italian cuisine and a wine list comprised of primarily Italian, French and American producers. Annually, we win best Italian Restaurant in the East Bay through various publications as well as Wine Spectator's Best Award of Excellence for our wine list. Think of our retail shop as a virtual wine list-everything that you see on the shelves, is available during dining at our adjoining restaurant!
