Lead by Executive Sommelier and Master Sommelier Candidate Robert Mackenzie, the Wine Dispensary Wine Club offers members access to private, curated wine and specialty tastings featuring 10-20 hand-selected varietals, paired with an interactive educational component, on-site ordering and options for delivery. Reserve your spot at any one of the four calendared tastings every 60-days, where Mackenzie serves as your global winery guide, bringing vineyards and distilleries from around the globe to the Wine Dispensary’s eclectic, historic venue in downtown Denver. We make wine & spirits simple, social, simple, and fun. 6-month and 1-year memberships are available. About Us:
We navigate the world of wine (and spirits) to save you time and money by curating selections that align with both your palate and your budget. Private consultations (with wine!) help us understand your preferences so we can make recommendations you’ll enjoy, without the guesswork. Exclusive Member Club Tastings let you try (10+ wines every time!) before you buy, with fun facts and intel to help expand your personal “wine wisdom.”
Intimate Club Tastings (40 ppl. Multiple Club Tastings are scheduled each 60-day cycle so you can always get one on your calendar. If you can’t make any of the calendared tastings in a cycle, we’ll hand select items for you (upon request) based on your personal preference and needs. Our Executive Sommelier is your secret weapon. Just call or email with your needs and we do the work for you:
- We make filling your wine rack or cellar with “the good stuff” easy and convenient.
- We pick and deliver wines that work for your entertaining style, from dinner parties to holidays, broker’s opens and beyond.
- We make you the hero, delivering the perfect liquid hostess, birthday, holiday and corporate gifts on time and on budget. Our Featured Club Wines range from $15 - $45, cellar wines up to $4000, beer $7.99 & up, and spirits starting at $19.99. Our pricing is competitive…and every time you spend $150 or more, we deliver it to you for FREE. The Benefits of Membership:

- Invitations to attend one of four calendared Club Wine Tastings* every 60 days, showcasing 10-20 featured wines priced from $15-$45 (all available for purchase).
- Invitations to Specialty Tastings* on an ongoing basis. In addition to Club Wine Tastings, “Specialty Tastings” focus on a singular type of adult beverage. Examples include agave spirits (tequila, mezcal), sake, rosé, Champagne, and more. Similar to the Club Wine Tastings, 10 to 20 varietals will be presented for sampling and purchase.
- Referral Credits: Receive a $60 account credit for each new member referral.
- Free delivery for orders $150 & up within the delivery zone.

We opened the doors to the Wine Dispensary in 2015 after realizing the need for a bottle shop that was more than just a retail store. We built Wine Dispensary to be a place where people can feel comfortable learning and exploring new flavors and tastes. We enjoy finding the hidden booze-related gems of the world, allowing everyone to explore value-driven items both inside- and outside-the-box.
We opened the Wine Dispensary as sort of ‘speakeasy’ bottle shop -- with zero signage for passers-by -- allowing us to discuss wine, beer, and spirits on a one-on-one basis. The Wine Dispensary is a full-service bottle shop that offers group tastings, booze for catered events, wine club memberships, and alcohol delivery services to the Denver Metro area. With a background in entertainment, we combined our floor-to-ceiling showcase room with our event space, game room, and rooftop patio because what’s more fun than throwing a party? We created an ‘underground’ space, so to speak, for people to enjoy their new-found tastes.
Wine Dispensary wants to empower consumers to increase their personal alcohol beverage knowledge through tasting anything and everything. We want people to be able to comfortably explore their palates through our varied selection of wine, beer, and spirits, and cheers to those experiences in our ‘Denver Speakeasy’ event space.
After taking and completing a series of wine and spirits classes with the International Wine & Spirits Guild in Denver Colorado, Rob Mackenzie fell in love and developed a personal passion for wine. Rob Mackenzie started his wine career after leaving the music industry as a stage manager for 14 years, working with variety of artists, including both Metallica and Michael Jackson.
As with most of us that discover the wine world, Rob fell in love quickly and decided to turn his new-found hobby into a business. A business where he could use his freshly acquired knowledge and pointed palate to help others find that next wine they didn’t even know they wanted.
Rob began assisting people in discovering their own palates by offering tastings and classes, and then sourcing the right wine for the right person. This puzzle, the element of fitting and finding all the wine pieces, led Rob to open the Wine Dispensary retail bottle shop in 2015.

Our goal is to bring relaxation to your door, and we do that by delivery wine to you every month through our newly developed wine club. Our wine cub provides you the opportunity to explore your palate with your choice of red, white, rosé, and sparkling wines* in either 4- or 12-bottle boxes. We source bottles averaging between $15 and $20 retail price – perfect for your cellar, your stay-at-home evenings, or as gifts for your new neighbors. We aim to find the ‘hidden gem’ wines that you might not see regularly on normal retail shelves.
Each wine we send you comes with a card providing information on the producer, the wine itself, our pairing recommendations, and the option to rate each wine you receive. We’ve designed this card for you to keep and refer back to when you need a quick reference on wine to quench your grape-inspired thirst.

Delivery is $5/month, with the first month free, the $5 monthly charge will be added to your total after signup is complete. Delivery is only applicable within our delivery zone, please review our check out process to determine if you are in our delivery zone.
