Centennial Tap Beer Service, Inc. has been doing business in Colorado for over 50 years. Th

e company was started in 1960 by Felix Balzano as a service company for beer distributors to get their customer's beer lines cleaned. A natural progression followed into beer system installations and service.

1967 saw the advent of using Co2 as a propellant and the compressed gas delivery portion of the business. Throughout the 70's and early 80's, our customer base for compressed gases grew as well as our draft beer installation credentials. Today we offer draft beer design, consulation and installation with our seasoned draft beer install and service managers. We also are available 7 days a week for service work on your draft beer system both commercially and residentially. It's been forever since we posted where we have installed and what we are doing and we are going to start catching you up. But today we are sharing the loss of a friend that many of you would know. Pat Markiewicz passed away last week from heart failure. Pat worked for Centennial Tap for maybe 20 years. You know him if you ever worked at Centennial or you know him because you came into our store on Tejon or you know him because he delivered to your restaurant or bar. He was smart, funny, talented at anything he did and he had a heart of gold. He moved to Michigan so there are no services held in Colorado. Please share a story about knowing Pat. His son and daughter would enjoy reading them.

Centennial Tap Beer Service has been operating out of the same building since 1980! The building was built in 1950 by the Balzano family. Larry Balzano, owner of Centennial Tap, has been wanting to sell the building and move to another location with more exposure for our retail store. After 3 years, the right buyer came along but they wanted to take ownership in 90 days. So our plan to move to a location with more exposure is on our list of projects but for now Centennial Tap will be temporarily re-locating to our warehouse that is just east of Brighton. The new address effective August 25th, is 33100 E. 160th Ave., Hudson, 80642. All our phone numbers will still be the same. More communication to follow as the move date draws closer for our residential customers and commercial customers that come to our store on how we will assist you with parts, service, Co2 refills and advice.

So we need your help to lighten our load!

Every Saturday starting 6/23/18 and continuing through 8/21/18 we are having Re-Locating sales at our current location: 1930 W. 41st. Ave., Denver 80211

We'll send out a post prior to Saturday with a list of items that will be out for killer prices. It will be everything from beer equipment, to tools, TV's, soda equipment and the items we come across we forgot we had!

August of 2018 we sold the building we operated out of for over 40 years. Our relocation took us to Brighton, Colorado. Don’t want to drive to Brighton? No Problem! We will come to you with parts, advice and refills of gases. Just give us a shout!
