So not the greatest way to start the year. We’ve learned today of the passing of our long time employee, both from us and Romey’s. Know for his jokes and personality, he has been a figure in the town of Danvers and Beverly for the past 83 years. With all the love from the store and the town, please say a special prayer for Alan Morse. He dominated Romy’s as a favorite waiter, moving to the store after they closed. Everyone can remember some story regarding him. REST IN PEACE AL, we will never forget you!❤️

As the year comes to a close, we often look back and reflect. Us here at Merchants, will be doing the same. Reflecting back on all the years that Edward Niland manned the cooler and helped customers out with their beer purchases. All the years of always being there when we were in a jam for coverage. We here at Merchants, want to send our thanks and gratitude and love for all you have done for us. HAPPY RETIRMENT!

Happy New Years everyone!! We will be closed on Sunday New Years day. Also, as of January 1st, we will be changing our hours for the rest of winter. Starting on Monday January 2nd we will be doing Monday thru Thursday 9-8, Friday & Saturday 9-9 and Sunday 10-6. We hope you all understand the changes and have a safe New Years.
