We had the pleasure of tasting these beauties today and were absolutely blown away by their balance and complexity...simply stunning!

Founded in 1958 by Michel Salmon and now led by fourth-generation Alexandre Salmon, this family-run house in Chaumuzy (Vallée de l’Ardre) shines a spotlight on Pinot Meunier—making up 85% of their vineyards. Crafted in clay-limestone soils under a humid spring climate, these cuvées burst with vibrant fruit and a distinctive mineral tension, proving Meunier’s incredible potential for complexity and longevity. These wines are produced in very limited quantities, especially the Special Club bottlings. If you're looking for a bottle to elevate your NYE celebrations, we highly recommend you give one of these of try. A guaranteed unforgettable toast awaits!

With the holidays fast approaching, we’ve got the perfect sleeper pick for the Bordeaux lover in your life—a stunning Left Bank Bordeaux that’s sure to impress. Château Cos d’Estournel is a powerhouse from Saint-Estèphe, located on the border of Pauillac and just across from the First Growth Château Lafite Rothschild.

This summer, we had the pleasure of hosting Adriane Leclef, the U.S. representative for the legendary Château Cos d’Estournel, and we tasted through an incredible selection of ten of their wines. The absolute standout was the 2014 Château Cos d’Estournel! 2014 was a year when Saint-Estèphe avoided the harvest rains that affected the rest of the Left Bank, making it a true hidden gem. This wine is dark, bold, and expansive, with a perfumed nose of truffle, earth, cassis, and oak spice. It’s just starting to hit its sweet spot. Considering it’s one of the more affordable vintages from this iconic château in the last 15 years, it’s an absolute no-brainer for any collector.
