We’re 2 weeks out from the 150th annual “Run for the Roses” so time to start prepping for your Kentucky Derby needs! 🏇 Kick off your planning with our Mint Julep bundle! Start your preparations early and ensure your Mint Juleps are the toast of North Georgia! Available now - get yours today!

Mint Julep Recipe

Ingredients:

2 oz Bourbon whiskey (we have many quality bourbons to choose from)

8-10 fresh mint leaves, plus a sprig for garnish

1/4 oz simple syrup (adjust to taste)

Crushed ice

Instructions:

Prepare the Mint: In a chilled julep cup, gently muddle the mint leaves with the simple syrup to release the oils. Be careful not to shred the mint into pieces.

Add Bourbon: Pour the bourbon over the muddled mint and syrup.

Ice it Up: Fill the cup with crushed ice, stirring briefly to combine and chill the mixture. Top the cup with more crushed ice to form a dome shape.

Garnish: Insert a sprig of mint into the ice to garnish.

Presentation Tip: Serve in a well-chilled silver or pewter cup if possible, as tradition suggests.
