Today, 4/27, our EMS providers will be participating in a high fidelity training experience that involves simulated calls in real places around Crozet. Our simulated patients will be receiving emergency care during these calls, thus you may notice an increased presence of emergency vehicles. Thanks to the generosity of several community members, these calls will be taking place at private addresses. While emergency vehicles are present, please do not approach the scene out of respect for these community member's property. Any immediate questions or concerns can be directed towards our station line, 434-823-5103.

While this is occurring, Rescue 5 will still have dedicated EMS units available for true emergency calls and normal EMS service will not be disrupted. If you have any questions, or are interested in experiencing being an EMS provider first hand, email: [email protected] to get started today!
