Saturday Wine Tasting: June 15, 3–6 PM

This Saturday’s tasting will feature the delicious Verdad (get it, “for Dad”) Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles, California, and a rich, full-bodied Chardonnay, The Calling from the Russian River Valley in Sonoma, California.

The Verdad Cab comes from the Lindquist family, who are known for making the best Syrahs in California at Qupe Vineyards. This is their first effort at making Cabernet Sauvignon, and it is GREAT! Regular price $30, sale price $25.50.

The Calling is a joint venture from Peter Deutsch whose family is responsible for creating Yellow Tail from Australia (and many other famous wines), and CBS Sports broadcaster and wine lover Jim Nance. In my opinion, the Chardonnays from the Russian River Valley are the best in California, and The Calling is one of the best of the best! Regular price $29, sale price $24.65.

If that’s not enough, we will also be tasting 1420 Special Reserve, a very special Craft Bourbon made in Connecticut. This is a rich, oaky Bourbon that will please even the most discriminating palate. Definitely a perfect gift for Dad!

The Fableist Wine Company is a joint venture from two leading winemakers from the central coast area of California, near Paso Robles.
