Up North just doesn’t want to let go of winter this year! We woke up to a frozen wonderland here in Cross Village. Trees, cars, streets, houses... everything was coated in a clean, crisp layer of ice. It’s beautiful to look at, but not so great for driving or being outside. To everyone affected, stay inside, stay safe, and think warm, springtime thoughts!

Peninsulas is hiring seasonal retail associates for our Cross Village store. This position is perfect for someone with a positive attitude who enjoys sharing Michigan history, has a knack for merchandising, and is comfortable assisting customers in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

Location: Cross Village, Michigan
Seasonal Position: May–October
Part-Time Hours: 20–30 hours per week

What You’ll Do:
• Greet customers and help them find the perfect Michigan-inspired gifts and gear
• Restock the sales floor with awesome merchandise and apparel
• Maintain a clean and inviting space
• Cultivate a positive and friendly attitude with customers and co-workers
• Work flexible hours, including weekends

What We’re Looking For:
• Retail experience preferred but not required
• Enthusiasm for Michigan’s history, landmarks, and outdoor lifestyle
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and move items up to 40 pounds
• Ability to maneuver effectively around the sales floor, stock room, and storage areas, with prolonged standing required
