Curbside Pickup Starting Monday, April 6

We are now asking customers to wait outside the store for their order, instead of coming inside to shop. We will still be open during normal business hours.

Please order and pay in advance if you can. Here are instructions:
1) Call the store at 860-742-2266
2) Give us your name and order
3) Pay by credit card over the phone. If you have cash or debit card, come to the store entrance and we will charge you there
4) Pickup your order at the store entrance (do not come inside)

We are doing this to protect everyone's health and prevent the spread of the virus. The curbside pickup will take longer and you may have to wait for us to get your order, thank you for your patience.

I'm writing on behalf of my parents, Mamta and Saurin. They're two hardworking people who own a mom-and-pop package store out in Coventry, CT. They're healthy right now and their store is still open.

Like other small businesses, they are worried about people going in social isolation and not coming into the store. We're seeing this happen in other states like CA and WA, where businesses are shutting down because people are staying home instead.

Mamta is 53 and always puts others before herself. Saurin is 60 and is a diabetic heart patient, but still works at the store. Together, they treat their customers like family and that's why people keep coming back.

We hope they do not have to close the store and the government does not require them to close, but if they do, any help is appreciated.

If you are in the area, please visit their store while it is open and give them your business.
