Padre Island Cigar Company, a charming boutique cigar destination, is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part-Time Sales Person. If you have a genuine enthusiasm for ci**rs or want to learn, and enjoy helping customers find the perfect smoke, we want to hear from you!
Position: Part-Time Sales Person
Location: 15217 S. Padre Island Dr. #214 Corpus Christi, Tx 78418
Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service Excellence: Provide unparalleled customer service by assisting patrons in selecting ci**rs based on their preferences and offering expert advice.
2. Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest cigar releases, accessories, and industry trends to provide customers with accurate information.
3. Sales and Upselling: Actively engage customers, showcase our premium cigar collection, and drive sales through effective recommendations and upselling techniques.
4. Maintain Store Appearance: Ensure the shop is well-maintained, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
5. Cash Handling: Handle transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and providing receipts.
Requirements:
• Passion for ci**rs and a basic understanding of different cigar types and brands. We can train this so it is helpful but not required to have cigar knowledge and / or experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous retail or sales experience is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

For our last Espinosa highlight, it’s all about the special Espinosa Knuckle Sandwich 56. In celebration of Guy’s 56th birthday this limited run of 1500 boxes produced. It shares similarities with the Knuckle Sandwich 55, but now it’s a sizable 6x56 oval press. This Wednesday, we wanted to highlight one of our new ci**rs - the Espinosa Habano. This was one of Cigar Aficionado’s top 25 ci**rs of the year for 2019. This cigar has an enjoyable and complex flavor profile from its Nicaraguan to***co blend and its Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. **rsmoker **rsnob **rs
Today’s Espinosa highlight is the Espinosa Murcielago (Spanish for ‘bat’). The cigar first appeared in 2009 and was made at the My Father factory but the exact blend was lost. This cigar was resurrected and reverse engineered in collaboration between Erik Espinosa and AJ Fernandez. It has a Mexican wrapper with a Nicaraguan filler and binder. **rsmoker **rsnob **rs
