Night 1 (of FIVE sold out evenings) of Seaglass Christmas Tree & Wine Tasting was so much fun! Stephanie showed us how to make beautiful Seaglass Christmas trees that light up as the perfect holiday decor. We had fun tasting delicious wines too 🍷.

Here's a sneak peek at SATURDAY'S FREE WINE TASTING 🍷. Join us from 1-4pm to try the fabulous wines that you see here. They're all perfect for Thanksgiving and the holiday season ahead.

Perlage Col di Manza Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, Italy- A premium DOCG Prosecco from the heart of the region. Grown on steep hills and with 20+ year old vines, its captured the beautiful terroir in each glass. Fruity, dry, elegant, and lively, this is perfect for the holiday season. Organic and biodynamic.

Chateau Mourgues du Gres Blanc, Rhone, France- A Grenache Blanc blend that's fruity, dry, and crisp, while also having some weight on the palate. A great pairing with turkey and Thanksgiving sides.

Domaine La Soumade Rasteau, Rhone, France- A blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mouvedre that's a beautiful complement to holiday fair. Smooth and structured, it has flavors of wild strawberry, blackberry, and touches of earth.

Schild Estate Sparkling Shiraz, Barossa, Australia- One of my very favorites for the holidays! This is a sparkling red wine, a rare but delicious find. Schild Estate is known for their quality Shiraz. They start with that as the base and impart carbonation using the tank method. The result is a dry, fruity, robust red bubbly that will wow guests and pair nicely with food. It is festive... just like the season!

For our December wine class, we’re exploring how to best pair food and wine... by tasting fun bites alongside delicious wines of course!

We're running this wine class on two separate nights so that you can choose the date that works best for you. Tuesday December 10 is currently SOLD OUT but you can still add yourself to the waitlist. There are STILL SEATS available for Wednesday December 11 though. Links in bio for both dates.

Each ticket includes:
-A welcome sparkling wine
-4 specially selected wines paired with 4 complementary bites
-Fun education that explains why certain foods pair best with specific wines

$40pp and limited to 20 people. We hope you can join us for this festive event.

We have so many wonderful Thanksgiving wines in-store and more new wines arriving all the time 🦃 🍷. Here are just a few gems that we featured in our wine classes this week that will pair perfectly with your holiday meal:

Paul Buisse Muscadet, France- Made of 100% Melon de Bourgogne, this wine is bright, fresh, and dry with notes of green apple, pear, and orange blossom. Mouth-watering acidity pairs with cheese, charcuterie, gravy, and turkey.

Hugel Estate Riesling, Alsace, France- One of Alsace's oldest winemaking families and an acclaimed producer in the region. This dry Riesling is complex and layered with high acidity, richness, and flavors of apricot, citrus, and honeysuckle. 93 points James Suckling.

Tenuta Marcianella Vino Nobile, Tuscany, Italy- Delicious, complex, and old world, this wine has ripe fruit flavors like wild strawberry. At the same time, it has perfumed elements like rose and violet. 92 Points Wine Spectator. This "Baby Brunello" holds its own without carrying a Brunello price tag.

Couldn't resist ushering in November with a little harvest celebration... and the Farmers Market Wines! Have you tried them yet? The red is a juicy and lush Montepulciano from Italy with flavors of dark cherry, wild strawberry, and blackberry. It's delicious both on its own and with food. The white is a blend with Trebbiano and Fiano. It is fruity yet dry with zippy acidity and freshness. Both are certified organic. Enjoy them for $16.99 or mix and match 2 for $32.

Wine on Main is officially 2 years old 🎉🎉🎉!! In many ways I remember it like it was yesterday... I was filled with both excitement and nervousness as I opened the doors to the public for the first time. An hour went by, then two, then three, and I still hadn't had any customers. Rather than wallow, I decided to be productive and got to work making a PowerPoint for a wine class I wanted to run. By the time I reached my third slide, I suddenly hear the front door bell! I ran out to check and lo and behold, my first customers! They were a couple visiting New Hampshire who stumbled into the store because they thought it looked cute and they seemed just as thrilled as I was that they were our first customers. The day was quiet overall, but by the end of the day I had a few sales and a full PowerPoint for what would be our first ever wine class.

Since then, we've done so many things- wine classes! Tastings! Candles! Donuts! Paintings! Charcuterie! Dinners! Chocolate! Needle Felting! And there's so much more to come.

Celebrate our 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY with us THIS SATURDAY 11/9 with a FREE WINE TASTING and more. Ambra from Stonefence will be here with all new wines from around the world and Kevin from Jack's Crackers will be sampling as well. We have a few other goodies too. Thank you to everyone who came out for First Friday... including my Aunt, Uncle, cousin, and family who made an impromptu visit from Massachusetts! We enjoyed sharing this fun line-up of wines with you.

Also a special thank you to who organized a city-wide Art Walk to go along with this month's First Friday. We loved being a stop on the walk and are so grateful to them for putting on such great events. We cherish this community that we are a part of.

FREE Wine Tasting TONIGHT, Friday November 1, from 4-7pm ‼️

Can you believe it's November?! (Time flies when you're having fun and drinking 🍷 I guess). The start of the month means the return of First Friday and our free tasting. This month has a special theme too. Downtown Concord is hosting an Art Walk. Businesses are showcasing local artists, offering promotions, and the Concord Arts Market will be set up. One of our wines, the Frida Kahlo Day of the Dead Red, in inspired by an iconic artist and proceeds go to the Frida Kahlo Foundation.

Happy Halloween from Wine on Main!

Every year, Chris and I do a pumpkin carving contest. We did it on Sunday and you may have seen these floating around on our stories and maybe even voted for one. Today I can reveal that the one on the right is mine and based on your votes I think I may have actually won this year 🎃🎉😀.

We're open today Thursday 10/31 until 4pm so that we can get home for some neighborhood trick or treating.

Fruit forward yet still dry, this has lively bubbles and flavors of green apple, peach, and citrus. Domaine Dubreuil-Fontaine Aligote, Burgundy, France - While most white wines from Burgundy are made from Chardonnay, they grow Aligote as well. A rarer find, Aligote is dry, citrusy, and clean. This particular bottle has nice weight on the palate and a mineral backbone. It is totally elegant and beautiful for fall. Quinta Nova Pomares Red, Douro Valley, Portugal- Another find from our trip to Portugal. This is a juicy, lush red blend with dark fruit flavors like blueberry and blackberry. Velvety smooth.� Million Trees Pinotage, South Africa- South Africa is known for Pinotage. This bottle is approachable yet flavorful with dark fruits punctuated with spice.
