For the last 18 years we have poured our
๐ฉธ ๐ฅ ๐ญ into a business that we saw grow and flourish as we were blessed beyond belief with the absolute best customers, employees, and business community members one could only imagine. Now the day has come to move on to the next chapter as weโve closed on the sale of our business this past week.
As you read these words, it may seem like this decision came swiftly overnight, but I can assure you that many months of contemplation and deliberation, even years of what was once considered โlong termโ planning, all of the sudden became a reality that was here just like the end of that long chapter in a book that you just canโt get enough ofโฆand as this last chapter lengthened, priorities became more clear. Family and health, which had always been more important to me than anything, finally surfaced at the forefront where they belong. Our other business, Max Muscle Nutrition, an industry that has been a passion of mine since I was a teenager, had found its way in second place. Itโs now time to direct my passion back where it belongs. Masters of Bourbon, a brand that I co-created with a very good friend and business owner, can now possibly be more than just a cool logo and a fun time?
So, as we turn the page, I donโt know what the next chapter has in store. I donโt know how I will feel in the coming days, weeks, and months. However, I do know there are plans, ideas, enthusiasm and eagerness to dive in and see whatโs in store.
We wouldnโt be here without our wonderful customers over the years. You are the number one inspiration that drove our desire to be one of the best customer service focused businesses in town. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support.
Success has been driven and supported by employeesโฆlike the strong foundation you must have to build anything. To those that gave their ๐ฏ, I thank you also from the bottom of my heart. I wish the best for all those that have been a part of our company. I cherish your efforts and attitude.
My family โค๏ธ From my uncle, that taught me the business and gave me the opportunity, to my father that taught me the value of dollar, and not just taught me the importance of genuine customer service, but practiced it until the day he could no longer work; to my mother who taught me strong work ethic, and again showed it in her everyday routine whether it be her job, or caring for our family. Then thereโs my brother, my biggest fan, who was there behind the counter every Christmas Eve. You could hear the pride in his voice anytime he said โmy brother owns The Jugโ. And my sister-in-law, Misty, who worked tireless hours to help grow the business and bought in from day one to the retail system we put in placeโฆ.true loyalty. Lastly, my wonderful wife, so beautiful inside and outโฆ.you were the deepest driving force behind anything good Iโve ever done, and my safety through all the obstacles and downfalls that came along the way.
As they say, this isnโt a good bye, itโs see ya later and come see me at Max Muscle or at a Masters of Bourbon tasting!!!
