The dry Mosel riesling from is only $9.99 through the end of the year and should be in your pairing arsenal for holidays and beyond. We have a good deal on J. Gueneau Sancerre while it lasts. The same for the cab franc rose from Domaine de la Chanteleuserie Bourgueil via . Finally, a shop favorite Piedmont red blend from that you'll want with some or mom's spaghetti.

A heads up that our friends at Ray Ray's Hog Pit will be closed today (at our location). You can order JT's Pizza & Pub or from our snacks menu. We look forward to seeing you tonight. We have scheduled Beaujolais!, Drinksgiving, Red & White Friday Holiday Tasting (Ticketed), and Grower Champagne & Fries (Ticketed). The last two will require advanced purchase before they fill up.

Our WTFs (Wine Tasting Friends) gathered for the ATP (Aardvark Tasting Panel) to taste through sparkling wines. There were many favorites including that's already on our shelf for only $20. The baked caprese salad and garlic shrimp from friends were devoured.

Okay, folks. We have a couple things to share with you.

Our weekly tasting today through Sunday will benefit so stop by, taste, hang out, and shop with us. We'll donate 20% of the $15 tasting fee to this great organization having a positive impact on kids with life-threatening illnesses. We also have their collaboration beer with which part of the proceeds going to their mission.

This is one of the better lineups of wines that we've been able to share. They're all being offered at a big discount which isn't the normal. Ever wanted to taste a $95 single vineyard chardonnay? We have some other deals in the shop as well.

We brought in this Reserve Shiraz from earlier this year and it was gone immediately. We just got more! It was made only for Ohio and another market. It's a blend of two of their single vineyard bottlings that retail for $75 and $125. This wine is a steal for $25. Until it's gone.

We've been scoring some incredible deals over the last couple weeks. We won't be posting most of them on social media and we'll likely pour some this weekend for our tasting.

In the meantime, here are two gems you should jump on and they'll give you an indication of the level of wines and discounts that we're getting for you.

Domaine de Terrebrune from Bandol is one of the top dry rosés produced in the world. It's been a go-to, benchmark producer from Kermit Lynch, especially if you can't get your hands on Domaine Tempier. Normally $42.99, we have it for only $19.99. Bandol rosé is often released later and can handle some age better than others.

Bouchet & Merle are old references in Bordeaux to cabernet franc and merlot. This blend of the two varietals brings a heft of fruit. It's a wonderful red that was $32.99 and down to only $9.99. If you buy six bottles, it comes in branded wood crate.

What's A Kid Again? They "bring hope, happiness, and healing to children with life-threatening conditions and their families. Since 1995, through the generosity of our volunteers and donors, we’ve been creating year-round Adventures that allow these children to feel like A Kid Again."

We're also partnering with A Kid Again to receive 20% of our weekly tasting fee later this week. Come to our wine tasting or grab a six-pack of this beer and you're supporting kids in our community.

As we've shared before, the Asheville and Western North Carolina communities have seen devastation. This includes one of our favorite breweries. If you visit and purchase any Hi-Wire Brewing in October, we're donating all of our profit back to them. It might not be a lot, but a lot of us pitching in adds up. That's 20% of all Hi-Wire cans to-go and $4 from every pint served. We're currently serving Hi-Pitch IPA and Bed of Nails Brown Ale. Raise a pint or can to their recovery.

It's time for our weekly wine tasting. Only $15, Friday through Sunday, open to close. We rarely have a theme but our resident horror film critic, Laura, asked if she could pair up wines with favorite films in time for Halloween. Why not? Viewer discretion is advised.

We have a dry pet nat from that's a blend of verdicchio, malvasia, and sangiovese. A pet nat is a fermentation that finishes in the bottle with the natural residual sugar. Drink with John Carpenter’s horror classic Halloween (1978) or Michael Dougherty’s anthology horror Trick ‘r Treat (2007).

We have chardonnay from . This project sources quality fruit from premium partner growers in the Central Coast of California. Balanced and elegant. Enjoy with Bernard Rose’s gothic romance Candyman (1992).

We're bringing the bold, big fruit with from our friend John of Vineyard Squardron and John Michael Wines. Pair with any flavor of zombie movie! With a personal recommendation of Edgar Wright’s horror comedy Shaun of the Dead (2004). Although not a zombie film, Pulp Fiction (1994) would be appropriate as well.

Finally, Omen Cabernet Sauvignon. Richard Donner’s supernatural horror The Omen (1976). Of course.
