Old Monroe set us up with the very first bottles of Gooey Butter Cake cream to hit the market, so we whipped up your new favorite cocktail. Gooey Butter Cake cream, vodka, and cold brew coffee (Black Rabbit Coffee beans) served over ice. As Opera House continues to expand its reach, we are honored to collaborate with other industry leaders to create cool products. Please give us a thumbs up if you like our cocktails.

✨Introducing Old Monroe Single Barrel Wheat Whiskey- Laura’s Pick! 🌾

Available this Thursday, November 7 in our distillery tasting room, we’re excited to release one of our personal favorites! This 115 proof wheat whiskey brings notes of honey, fresh-baked bread, caramel, and a touch of sweetness. Aged for 6.5 years, our wheat whiskey’s profile is softer and a bit sweeter than other types of whiskey.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the incredible team at Poettker Construction for all their hard work on our new distillery expansion and wedding venue! From day one, they have gone above and beyond to bring our vision to life with dedication, expertise, and exceptional attention to detail!

I also owe a special thank you to Peter (Senior Project Manager), Phillip (Superintendent), and Johnny (Project Engineer), for helping us navigate through all the day-to-day ensuring this space will be perfect! We appreciate you so much!

Exciting announcement! We are thrilled to unveil our brand-new Old Monroe Distilling Co. tasting room and venues with you!

For those of you that are new here, my name is Laura Stumpf and standing with me is my amazing husband and partner in all things, Adam! Together, we have owned and operated our distillery, Old Monroe Distilling Co., formerly Stumpy’s Spirits, for just over 9 years.

Creating a stunning space for weddings and celebrations as well as expanding on our tasting room offerings and experiences has been a huge priority for us over the last few years. We wanted to find the perfect location not far from our distillery that you could gather with family and friends, and we think we have done just that!

Nestled amidst the rolling hills of Monroe County, our venue offers a unique blend of charm, elegance, and tradition. From intimate weddings to corporate celebrations, our versatile spaces set the stage for your most memorable occasions.

We’re excited to take you on the journey of the final construction details! Set to open in early 2025, we’d love to host your events! Our team is ready and committed to helping you plan your perfect day!
