Did you know that some of the fine folks at Sacred Waters Brewing Company opened a sister bar at The Coop now called: The Rendezvous? They have been open for about a month and now they have the coveted NFL Sunday Ticket! 🏈🍻
They open this morning at 10:45 AM and close tonight at 10 PM! Games on all day long!! And yes, they turn the audio on for the games. Come check it out!!

As a manager, it’s nice having an employee that you never have to worry about staying busy. Brook is a tutorial of what true initiative and drive look like. Every once in a while you get one of those employees who can do it all. From managing our social media, to being our handyman, to carrying 15 boxes at a time, to interior design, she’s our Swiss Army knife. Brook is in her fourth year for us and we look forward to many more.

Next week (week from today!) Friday June 14th!!! WE BRINGING BACK THE LEGENDARY GUIDE NIGHT at The Coop!

Guide Night was started many years ago by Great Northern Brewing Company in Whitefish as a way for fishing guides, raft guides, shop staff and river enthusiasts to get together for a drink and some games before the summer season really gets wild and crazy. Our Friends at Great Northern did an amazing job of hosting all the guides, raising stoke and pouring delicious beer. Unfortunately Great Northern Brewing Company closed its doors in 2019 and we have not seen a true Guide Night since then.

This year Glacier Distilling Company, Sacred Waters Brewing Company, & O'Brien's Liquor & Wine in Columbia Falls are teaming up to bring Guide Night back to the Flathead Valley in a big way. On Friday, June 14th we will be hosting a brand new and improved Guide Night at The Coop in Columbia Falls. We will have a number of food trucks, a band, beer from Sacred Waters, cocktails from Glacier Distilling and the return of AMMO CAN TUG OF WAR! There will be plenty of prizes and give-aways to make sure folks don’t leave empty handed. The event will start at 5pm on June 14th and run as long as folks want to stay and party.

We are also taking this event to the next level this year by inviting a number of non-profits as well as vendor reps from our favorite rafting and fishing companies to come and chat with everyone and sell some gear to the guides. We will have reps from Montana Fly Company, Sawyer Paddles and Oars, Greys Fishing, Driftworks Fly, NRS, Bedrock Sandals and more present and ready to answer any questions that you may have. Flathead Rivers Alliance, Montana Kayak Academy, Glacier Conservancy and Guides Across America will all be represented as well and ready to chat about their missions and how they are working to make the rivers cleaner, safer and more fun for everyone! The vendor trade show portion of the event will go from 5pm until 7:30, ammo can tug of war will start around 7:30 and the band will kick off around 8.

We could not be more excited to see all the raft guides, fishing guides and shop staff at The Coop for what promises to be a phenomenal night. This event is also open to the general public as well so please feel to come down to The Coop and get ready for another great season on the water!”

In 2020 O’Briens was blessed with a rockstar of a manager, and friend! Patrick’s commitment to this store is nothing less than extraordinary. Chances are if you’ve wanted something new in the store Pat was the man to make that happen. He’s got an extensive knowledge of liquors and allocated items within the state. He’s our whiskey so it makes sense that his favorite beverage is the trapline rock and rye🥃 Thank you Pat for being the best.
