Tony is a handsome 55-pound all-white Husky with a heart full of love and a calm, well-mannered nature. At 10 years old, he enjoys life at a relaxed pace and has the sweetest personality. He walks beautifully on a leash, making him a wonderful companion for leisurely strolls and quiet adventures.

Meet Sara!

Highlights:
-Needs a 5ft fenced yard
-Needs a confident canine sibling
I am part of the Patient and Waiting (PAW) Club. My adoption fee has been reduced to $250 (from $350) to help get me into my loving home!
Sara, a gentle 5.5-year-old Shiba Inu/Husky weighing 31lbs, carries a heart that seeks solace and understanding. Her delicate nature and anxious disposition require a patient and loving environment.
Sara is getting more comfortable walking on a leash but would also do best with a fenced-in area to run around and play in. Sara approaches familiar people and takes treats, but she is still learning that being touched is safe. She has a few "spots" that she loves to have pet and scratched. Her journey to self-assuredness will be enriched by the companionship of a confident dog and the patience of her new family. In the presence of a confident canine companion, Sara blossoms. Their companionship brings her comfort and helps alleviate her anxious moments, making another dog in her home necessary. A confident dog would serve as a guide for her leash training, socialization with humans, and showing her how to simply be "a dog".
Her delicate heart deserves a space where she can thrive and find comfort.

Meet Peppermint!

Meet Peppermint, an inquisitive 6-year-old Shih Tzu weighing in at 11.6 pounds. Peppermint is a quiet observer, curious about people but not quite ready to approach on her own just yet. She finds comfort in being around other dogs, often keeping to herself while enjoying their company.
Peppermint is starting to discover the joy of treats, and with patience and gentle encouragement, she's sure to come out of her shell even more. One of her favorite pastimes is doing laps around the yard, sniffing every nook and cranny as she explores her surroundings.
This sweet girl is looking for a patient and understanding family who will give her the time and love she needs to continue building confidence.
