Thank you to everybody that supported us for the respite House Jiggety -jog. We were able to raise a lot of money to help support this amazing place of which Dick Mazza was in the governing board. He would have been so proud that we continued to carry on his legacy of giving with the support of the community. Thank you to everyone who helped us including the anonymous donors. We don’t know who you are, but we thank you as well.

To honor the memory of Dick Mazza and his community involvement, as well as generosity and dedication to Colchester and state of Vermont, we will be closed Thursday, May 30th to enable his friends, family, and employees, to attend services if desired. We thank everyone for their kind words of support throughout this illness.

Today we celebrate Jackie’s 80th birthday! Jackie has been a Mazza staple since 1968, yes 1968! She is responsible for those awesome salads, delicious meatballs and most importantly keeping Dick in line. If you get a chance stop in this morning and wish her a Happy Birthday!

We’re excited to announce we have reopened to the public. We’ve missed you and can’t wait to see you again for our 66th summer at the bay. Due to the pandemic we have made some changes for your safety and ours, but the excellent service you’ve always experienced will be the same. Come in and shop for all the items you have in the past including the best ground beef in the area, Jackie’s salads and meatballs, Dick’s pies and spaghetti sauce, a fabulous beer, wine and beverage selection and all your summer bbq, boating and camping needs.

We are requiring a mask be worn at all times by both shoppers and employees. You will notice changes to the flow in the store, please follow the arrows and signs throughout the store and liquor store to ensure social distancing and safety. We are sanitizing and cleaning throughout the day to keep you safe. Our current store hours are 7am-7pm and the liquor store will be open 9am-7pm.

COVID-19 Update:
In attempt to stop the spread of COVID-19 and do our part in social distancing we will implementing a few changes starting this coming Monday, the 6th.
As of Monday, the 6th, we will be doing curbside pickup ONLY. To place an order please call us at 802-862-4065 and one of our friendly cashiers will pull your order, run your credit card over the phone, and place your order on the table out front. All alcohol and to***co sales will require ID to be shown at the time of pickup.
Our store hours may vary from day by day so please call us ahead of time to ensure we will be open. Thank you for your support and we hope everyone stays safe in these difficult times.

Wow! What a surprise today! First the Governor proclaimed May 25th as Dick Mazza’s General Store Day to honor our 65 years in business, and later the Senate presented a resolution honoring our years of service. We are deeply grateful and proud to be a part of such a wonderful community and State. Thank you for your friendship, loyalty and business.
