What’s in the hoop today? Finishing “last years” project of a heirloom tree skirt, others orders came first and mine got pushed to this year… determined to finish it! Just have to sew it together… not as fast as one might think if you want it all to line up. Lol.

Got it all embroidered last year (30 ish hours)…. All those tiny tiny pieces appliquéd on!

What’s on the hoop the past evenings/wekends these last couple weeks… moving workshop1 downstairs as a family member is moving in upstairs, getting workshop2 a little facelift since it is very small also the office/guest room at the beach.

A little snug and spread out, but it works, only had to get a smaller sewing table for workshop1, was able to relocate most other items. If not was not sewing or embroidery, it went in attic, thankfully very few things fit that category.

In workshop2, love that the desk can be raised or lowered depending on what I am doing. In workshop1, I just have to get used to the new wall. Wish it was white but using what I had.

Just glad it’s all done now. Ruined three orders in my moving chaos, thankfully had extras.

Name on a robe. Today the mini factory is working (beach)… lol.

Best decision ever was to get this single needle for monogramming so I had a machine at both places.

Got a call from the FL campground, more towels and hats being shipped to me for monogramming.

Got a call from a cleaning company in GA that I did their shirts last year, another order of shirts needed.

Used her a lot last weekend, put names on 10 items from orders at other house

Look who will be assisting, she will be housed at the beach to help with simple orders while I am there.

During summer months, it can get busy so going between homes gets me behind, so needed a little help, so Marketplace I went.

What’s on the hoop:

more beach towels of course, and two kids peeker towels (pics later as not quite finished)…. Unicorn and Baby Yoda.

Worked most of day on a memory bear, never made one. The shirt was just short of material for all sides so used a matching fabric. Used shirt collar for bear collar and made button eyes from the shirt. Added a touch of embroidery. With the white spot in nose area, debating leaving vs making A black nose, I don’t have black floss here.

Simple but heart felt.
