Mandala Day of the Dead 2022 Edition Anejo Tequila🩻

This edition was designed by Jesiel Rubio and Fer Arias, two creative minds from Guadalajara. The path of Jesiel through illustration and graphic arts began in the late 90s. His style has been characterized by clean and carefully placed elements in his work, with friendly shapes and selected colors that are testimony of his knowledge as designer and marketer.

The artistic interest of Fer started from an early age, developing his sensitivity through music, design, and photography (where he has received recognition from renowned institutions). His focus on composition and the message behind every creation, combined with Jesiel’s vision, results in unique and beautiful artwork.

The company that produces Siete Leguas is most famous for having produced Patron at the time when that brand was building its reputation as the best premium tequila in town. The date of 1861 in the name signifies the year Pedro Camarena Ramírez was born, who went on to found the first Tequila distillery in Arandas which was lost to a fire in the Mexican Revolution. All that remains of the original distillery is the heavy stone tahona now on display at El Pandillo. Felipe Camarena, invited the great-great-grandson of Pedro to reconnect with his origins in Tequila, and thus Primo 1861 was born.

Código 1530’s name honors “Los Códigos,” the old world codes and customs that shaped and still live on in Amatitán and the Los Bajos region to this day.
