The mix of floor malted Bohemian dark pilsner malt along with roasted German malts creates a pitch black lager brimming with rich cacao & toasted pumpernickel flavors. We exercise restraint in adding Czech Saaz hops in the kettle, which boosts seasonal dried date aromas, a welcome bitterness & a warming, dry finish.
