NOSE

Bright caramel, cereals and malt, butteriness and Thorntons special toffee. Aromas of dried lemon rind.

PALATE

Bright zing accompanies a really weighty spirit forward dram. Boiled barley sweeties, cloves and spice of woody European oak.

FINISH

Long rounded finish with dried apricots and dried lemon rind sinking into oaky the spice blend.

Our 2nd release Is up at Jack Rose’s in DC. Teaninich is an under appreciated distillery and this release is a true gem finished in a 1st fill oloroso cask. Hard not to appreciate for a $14 dram at Jack Rose!

NOSE

Offers a vibrant burst of fresh fruit and pecans with subtle hints of citrus, setting a fresh and inviting tone that welcomes the taster into the complexities to follow.

PALATE

Rich and deep, the palate unfolds with a medley of dried fruits, notably sweet dates, intertwined with the caramel-like sweetness of brown sugar. Each sip invites deeper exploration into the layered flavors.

FINISH

Long and pronounced, the finish is a gradual crescendo of warm spices, revealing a lingering complexity that encourages savoring. Each note slowly builds, promising a lasting impression that beckons another taste.
