New wines from Hofgut Falkenstein have arrived!
Hofgut Falkenstein is one of the legendary estates in the Saar region of Germany.
Erich and Johannes Weber farm about 13 hectares. The average vine age is between 40 and 50 years old, and the oldest are from 60 to 90 years old. The primary soil is gray slate, with some quartz. The grapes are harvested by hand, and their work in the cellar is traditional. Each Fuder, which is the name for a 1,000 liter oak cask is bottled separately, a rare practice today. Each wine’s AP number refers to a specific cask. These are outstanding and rare Rieslings from one of our favorites in Germany.
These wines are quite limited, so let us know your requests today!
