Chuckie Amundson update:
Chuckie made it home this evening he wants to say thank you to everyone that has offered to help, sending prayers etc. Of course our biggest struggle is telling him "Chuckie now it is your time to let people help you because he wants to do for others".
We won't know much more until Eau Claire sets up the following ups as far as his diagnosis/if treatment is available etc.
What we do know is our fundraising event will be April 11th starting at 5 pm at the Chetek VFW Post 10331 in Chetek. Chuckie will be there and wants to visit with all his friends.
The VFW and Fostbites Spirits Fostbites Pub will team up for the silent auction, food and fundraising event. We are going to keep it semi simple and do music, hot dogs/brats on the large grill and sides/chips. ****We will pick up donations too all next week . . . Bidding for items will be all that week and online.
Tomorrow we will post the bank account at Sterling, Venomo etc for Chuckie. We will need volunteers that day as well. By the end of the week we will have full details put together and post. We just wanted to get the date out there for folks to mark it on their calendars.
If you have a silent auction item please drop off at Fostbites Spirits or Pub or the VFW. Items can be gift certificates, homemade items, baskets, etc.
