We're calIing it, Snow Day rules today. Opening the bar at 11:30 today with grilled cheese, oysters and drinks. It's a tropical theme today, we're wearing Aloha shirts and putting umbrellas in the bloody mary's.

The unique and rare Chesapeake Haggis is in season again and just in time for Burn's Night on Saturday. Unlike Scotland's Meadow Haggis and Hill Haggis, our local puddings develop a rocky coat that can be confused for a shell.

Anywho, we're going to be celebrating the poet Robert Burns on his birthday weekend with a few fine Scottish additions to the menu (yes, we mean Haggis amongst other dishes) and a host of Scotch whisky deals. Reservations can be made on Opentable.

Chestertowners, we see you out there clearing the walks and getting it done, here is your reward. The Retriever is open now for Oysters, Stam’s Grilled Cheese w/ tom soup, hangtown fry (look it up), spiked hot chocolates, and beer (maybe not all on the same plate though).

We'll stay open until the sun goes down so if you're close enough to hike on in (please, don't drive). Oh and it's a pajama party in here today.
