Ravitz Family Markets The Ravitz family provides fresh and natural foods for families at five ShopRite stores in Burlington and Camden counties.

For four generations, the Ravitz family has viewed its customers, employees, and vendors as an extension of our own family. Our five ShopRite locations provide the fresh and flavorful foods that we would want to serve at our own dinner tables. By supporting a variety of community groups, non-profits and charities, our company helps strengthen the communities where we all live, work, and raise our families.

Our Story

Since 1984, we have been a member of the Wakefern Food Corporation–the largest retailer-owned cooperative in the United States. We’re proud to work with more than 300 ShopRite and Price Rite supermarkets located throughout New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts and Maryland to provide outstanding services and effectively deploy new technologies and processes to stay a step ahead in the marketplace.

We also have a strong commitment to the communities that we serve. Whether it’s a clothing drive or funding for a local charity, we are dedicated to helping the community through our Company/Employee Cares Charity, The Ravitz Family Foundation, and our corporate giving program.

Ours is a family business with three generations of grocers and multiple generations of leaders at the helm. We believe in teamwork and in building from within. We are very proud of all of our associates and to our many leaders who started as entry level employees.

At Ravitz Family Markets, our belief in serving our community starts with our Community Leadership Program for Management. Our management employees are empowered to use their time to help. They are encouraged and expected to be active in our local community. Part of their job duties is to use their incredible talents to help others and to set an example for their team members.
