Join us tonight for the Parade of Lights, then tomorrow, Sunday, December 8th, drop by the library between 2:00-4:00 to meet a reindeer close up in our main parking lot. We'll be serving free cocoa on the front walk. Kids will get to choose a book to keep thanks to The Friends of the Library Gift of Reading program, too!

The join our friends and neighbors for more festive fun:

• Kids and families are needed to help find all the candy canes the Grinch has hidden along the Cheboygan Children's Trail on Saturday, December 14th. Candy cane hunt 1:00-1:15, then enjoy cocoa & cookies with Santa & Mrs Claus 1:15-2:30.

• Local law enforcement representatives will take on players from the rec league for the annual charity hockey game Friday, December 20th, at 6pm. A donation of new or gently used winter coats, hats, gloves, boots, or a monetary donation serves as admission to the Cheboygan Ice Pavilion for the game.

• Cheboygan Area High School choir students will present their holiday concert and community sing-along on Wednesday, December 18th, from 6:30-7:30pm at the Cheboygan Opera House.

We are proud to be part of our downtown Cheboygan community all year long.
