Come try a selection of wines that will go great with Thanksgiving Dinner.

Domaine Bellevue Touraine Sauvignon Blanc 2023 is rich in texture with lovely acidity and great expressive fruit. $16.99

Pas Rouge 2022 is Gamey grown in Loire. It is akin to dark Cru Beaujolais. It's delicious.

Elias Mora Toro 2021 is Tempranillo or Tinta de Toro as it's know regionally, expresses the more elegant side of the varietal in a wine that is medium to full in body rich, ripe and easy to drink. $22.99

Finally Ontanon Rioja Reserva 2011 is absolutely fantastic for $68.99 for a 1.5li. It's showing it's age gracefully. The big bottle insures that everyone gets some at the table with wine left second round!
Depending on the size and drinking capacity of your crowd.

That's right. More South Africa. Rustenberg was originally founded in 1682 and has a long history of wine production. The property has had its ups & downs; several owners and devastation from phylloxera then resurrection by John X Merriman and his brother. I am very excited to have come across these wines. I have a long history with these wines and am very glad to add them to our South African Selection.

The Chenin Blanc is sourced from bush vines.

Barrel fermented chardonnay that's really good.

John X Merriman is a Bordeaux blend that rocks!

See you tonight.

Tonight we're tasting 4 wines from the oldest winery in Santa Barbara County. In 1962, at the age of thirty-two, Pierre Lafond founded the first post-prohibition commercial winery in Santa Barbara County. That's long before Au Bon Climat and the "Rhone Rangers." I have been fan of these wines from some time. They are true expressions of the region, well made and always a great value for the price.

Come by tonight 5-7 and see for yourself.

Come join us tonight for a unique opportunity to taste Gamay from three different villages in Beaujolais. Referred to as Cru Beaujolais, these wines have nothing in common with the standard Beaujolais-Villages wines. They are deep and complex often showing minerality, earth and beautiful acidity.

Were tasting 3 Crus:
Cote-de-Brouilly covers one of the smallest areas of any of the Beaujolais crus.

Chiroubles has the highest vines in Beaujolais (often on slopes with inclines over 30%).

Fleurie is located entirely in the commune by the same name, it owes its name to a Roman legionary.
Come see how different the same grape is frown in the relatively close area. It's quite amazing how distinct each wines is.

Come taste all 3 the have the flight for 15.00 or a glass of any for $10.00

See you tonight!

When was the last time you drank Zinfandel? Our current flight is a selection of 4 Zinfandels from 4 lesser known California growing regions.

These aren’t produced in the typical overblown style regularly associated with the varietal. These Zins are elegant and restrained with moderate body, yet the wines jump out of the glass with huge aromatics.

Taste all four at $24 and pair with cheese and charcuterie for an additional $10. Get in here and drink great wine with us!

Come see what the rest of Burgundy has to offer.
The viticulture in Macon dates as far back as in the Côte d'Or. The church's influence is as great here as in the rest of Burgundy. Overshadowed by the glory of the Cote d'Or, the Macon has always been a source of good inexpensive Macon-Village wines, but now the Crus (wines from specific villages) are getting much more attention as the price of wines from the Cost d'Or keeps increasing.

We're tasting two great Macon's tonight.
Jean-Claude Thevenet St. Veran "Clos de l'Ermitage V.V." 2022 : a plot of 5 hectares of old vine Chardonnay operated entirely by the Thevenet family. This trademark is protected and can only be used by ourselves.
Domaine du Clos des Rocs Macon-Loche "En Pres Foret 2023: Manual harvest of 40yr old vines, then very slow pressing. After pressing. 90% vinified and aged in stainless steel tanks and 10% in 500 liter barrels for 11 months.

In 1395 Gamay was banned from the Côte d'Or. It now thrives in Beaujolais. Like macon, the region is known for everyday drinking Beaujolais-Villages. We are tasting 2 wines from specific villages, or Crus as in Macon, which have little to do with the regional bottlings. They are amazing and great fall drinkers!

Domaine de la Chapelle des Bois Fleurie VV 2021: his cuvée is sourced from a single parcel planted to vines over eighty years old in the deeply granite soils of Fleurie. In contrast to the other wines of the domaine, this special selection is aged 12 months in large, older foudres to best express its formidable character.
Jean Francois Coquard Morgon "Les Charmes" 2020:Fermentation with whole grapes (manually harvested), minimum 2 weeks of maceration and fermentation at controlled temperature from the Climat of Les Charmes.

Come taste some great wine, learn a thing or 2 and possibly discover a new fall favorite!

Come taste some great fall reds! We have a collection of off the beaten path wines.

Seriously Cool Cinsault 2021 "A Wine of Circumstance"
The fruit is sourced from dry farmed vineyards planted in 1974 and 1964. Great Cinsault comes from very old vines and those are pretty old.

la Sargestana Sangiovese Superiore Romagna 2020
Superiore classification requires higher sugars at harvest which translate to higher alcohols but also riper tannins. This Sangiovese from Emilia-Romagna is delicious!

Two Birds One Stone Carignan 2022
I love Carignan! this bottle is always great and a great value. Classic rustic country French red.

Non Confunditur IGT 2021
Argiano out of Burnello decide to produce a wine outside of DOC guidelines and produce a Cabernet, Merlot, Sangiovese blend. It's generous and rich in aromas and with a defined structure. Unique.

Taste all 4 tonight. Have a glass at a great price or take a bottle home at 10 or 15% off!

Tonight from 5 t0 7 come taste 4 expressions of Cabernet Sauvignon from around the world.

Union Sacre is from Paso Robles California and is a delicious warmer climate cab.

Red Stake out of Washington State is a beautiful full bodied cab with ripe integrated tannins.

Cousino Macul Finis-Terrae 2013 from Chile is a wine that they has been long produced and ages incredibly. Come taste this mature bottle and see for yourself.

Serramarrocco 2014 is a classic Bordeaux blend produced in Sicily. The history of the wine is fascinating. The Barone de Serramarrocco was responsible for aiding the escape af many jews from Germany. One of those he helped was apparently a Rothschild. As a gesture of gratitude they bestowed the Barone with cuttings from Lafite Rothschild. With 10 years of bottle age it's amazing!
