Job Description:

Uptown Shop seeking a friendly part-time retail/merchandiser team member. Experience is not required but a plus. Please respond to this ad if you are able to multi-task, be responsible, flexible, a fast learner and function well in a team.
No nights and No weekends. Must be able to work between 8:00am-6:30pm Mon-Fri.

You will need to find your parking spot in Uptown if you are driving!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $9-10+ / hour

Minimum Experience, Skills, and Education:

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, which may also depend on your preference for part-time or full-time hours
• Ability to use technology applicable to the position and access information necessary to complete daily responsibilities

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education:

• 1-year retail sales associate, merchandiser, or inventory specialist experience (including greeting customers, stocking, merchandising/managing inventory, and/or replenishment)
• Prior experience in a team environment requiring professional and effective communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks at a time and meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills necessary for establishing customer and team relationships
• Ability to demonstrate a positive and engaging attitude and demeanor
• Desire to continually develop knowledge of product and services
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements (with or without accommodations):

• Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
